In aid of the NHS David Lakin, our Residential Sales and Lettings Manager and 47 friends completed a run of 500 kilometres in 48 hours! They individually ran in one hour time slots for a continuous 48 hour period between 6pm on Friday 1st May 2020 and 6pm on Sunday 3rd May 2020. (Yes, through the night). This was all completed adhering to social distancing guidelines and was tracked using Strava to get over 500km. The money raised was all in aid of the sterling work that the NHS workers have done for us during the Covid – 19 pandemic. Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser.

Organised by our Residential Consultant’s wife, our own Ann Birt, we always pledge to this fantastic day for the local community. Many of our staff including our Director, Richard, have grown up and come through Maendy Young Farmers Club, as a result we really aim to give back and sponsor them as a Club (Maendy YFC) and County (Glamorgan YFC) wherever we can. Richard in his spare time writes and directs the annual Pantomime/drama, which has seen great success over the years for Maendy YFC.  Rob is currently Chairman of Maendy YFC.
